That said, it's hard to see them making any major changes. Braun Strowman might be a good option at a different point of the year, but on the eve of a new era for the company? They are probably sticking with Rollins. The same can be said about Kofi Kingston, but that one is a bit more debatable as Orton does have a bit more name recognition in the mainstream.

WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso

It will be a battle between two of the biggest Samoan stars in the WWE this weekend, as Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Titles against Jey Uso. Fans have been buzzing since the return of Reigns, as the WWE have finally decided to turn the biggest star in the company into a heel. Reigns is now aligned with Paul Heyman, and it's fair to say that there has never been more interest in his character than right now. There is no doubt that Reigns will successfully defend his title, as there are bigger rivalries on the horizon for the Big Dog. But, it will be interesting to see how Reigns is booked, and whether he wins easily or whether it will be a much bigger test.

Pick: Roman Reigns at -2500 with BetOnline.ag.

WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton

One of the closest matches on the card according to the odds in the WWE Championship match. Both stars have enjoyed excellent years to this point. McIntyre has been the main star in the WWE since he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, while Orton has been engaged in a huge rivalry with Edge throughout much of the year. This is a re-match between the stars from SummerSlam, which saw the Scot successfully defend his title. There can be a point made for either of these superstars to walk away with the title. However, the pick is for McIntyre to successfully defend. There is a strong feeling that the Scot will be defending his championship at the next pay-per-view in a triple threat against Orton and Keith Lee.

Pick: Drew McIntyre at -120 with BetOnline.ag.

WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: Bayley vs Nikki Cross

The SmackDown Women's Championship will be on the line when Bayley takes on Nikki Cross at Clash of Champions. Bayley is the heavy favourite to defend the titles as there are certainly bigger things on the horizon for the current champion. She is gearing up for one of the biggest rivalries of the year against Sasha Banks, with the match likely to come at the next PPV. This match will end in a screwy finish, with Alexa Bliss likely to get involved and cost Cross her big opportunity.

Pick: Bayley at -400 with BetOnline.ag.
